Fantasticly designed hotel with a good ambiance. Goos facilities and very attentive staff.

one member of the night staff was so friendly and helpfull, when we arrived back after a late dinner and wanted some bottled water. Also the lunch time bar/restaurant staff were also very nice and friendly.The Hotel exterior and the dining/bar areas were very well maintained.
The superior room was shabby, the bathroom was very tired and the toilet in a small tiny narrow little room. We complained and were told the only option was a suite upgrade at extra charge of 60 euros/night. Even this upgraded suite had its significant problems with a broken King size Bed(sagging broken mattress- picture available) which they failed to fix. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill away from the town centre and beach. You need a car to go into town. The pool was freezing (supposed to be heated) would not stay here again. Also the shower water kept going very cold in the superior room.

Location over looking both Biarritz La Phare Golf course and Biarritz coast. Clean and quiet swimming pool. Great service.
20 up hill walk back from centre of Biarritz. Cost of drinks - 9 Euros for 50cl Biere.

I liked the lovely view from the room, and the double glazing and thick curtains which shut out the light. Also the free WiFi. The staff were very pleasant and friendly.
I didn't like the food in the bar, as I think it was microwaved and therefore unappetising.

I wanted to take some day trips to the country side and to Bilbao, but they only had one man with whom they worked and nothing worked out for me to do this.
